Our Culinary Highlights
Besides our classic offers, menus and delicacies in our restaurant "Villa Gans", the Ludwig Wilhelm Bar and on our park terrace, we offer you culinary events and highlights every year, in which you can participate and which you should not miss.
The mushroom season is entering our restaurant "Villa Gans". Enjoy different dishes with the most different mushrooms - partly also from our own park.
All kinds of skrei - starting in January
Skrei is Norwegian and means hiker. This is the name given to winter cod, which is only available in the first few months of the year at markets. We offer you a selection card with different dishes of this fish.
Kitchen classics - from February
In keeping with the cold season, we serve you typical kitchen classics. Look forward to tried and tested dishes such as Königsberger Klopse, Trout "Müllerin" or Peach Melba.
Asparagus season - from mid/end of April to end of June
Enjoy the asparagus season until St John's Day. We offer you different variations of the "royal vegetables", of course with matching wine accompaniment. Because asparagus and wine are simply a dream team.
Chanterelles in August
To this day it has not been possible to breed the chanterelle. It grows only in nature. A good reason for us to honour the mildly spicy mushroom this month. Throughout August you can choose from a variety of chanterelle dishes from our menu.
Venison dishes - October to December
Fine game creations await you in our restaurant in autumn. The meat tastes particularly aromatic and can be prepared very versatile and refined. Deer, stag and hare from local hunting are always something very special.
